India Arie mit einem speziellen Chor. Dieser Song wurde Inspiriert durch den gewaltsamen Tod von Eric Garner und in Solidarität mit der Movement for Black Lives. Gerade leider wieder hochaktuell durch den Tod des Afroamerikaners George Floyd in Minneapolis. „Wir singen dieses Lied, um diejenigen zu betrauern, die wir verloren haben, aber auch um das Leben kraftvoll zu bejahen.“

Die letzten Worte der beiden Männer, bevor sie durch Polizeigewalt ihr Leben verloren, waren: „Ich kann nicht atmen.“ R.I.P. Möge ihr Tod am Ende mehr Gerechtigkeit bewirken. Mitgefühl und Liebe möge bleiben.

Die Geschichte der Heldin hinter der Aufklärung des Mordes an George Floyd

Eine 17jährige ist die Heldin, die mit Zivilcourage den Mord filmte, es auf facebook hochlud und damit dafür sorgte, dass der „Vorfall“ nicht von der Polizie vertuscht werden konnte. Denn die Polizei von Minneapolis hatte bereits bekannt gegeben, dass ein Mann während eines “medizinischen Vorfalls” während eines Polizeieinsatzes im Krankenhaus gestorben wäre.
