Yael Deckelbaum wurde bekannt durch den Song „The Prayer of ther Mothers“, der seit 2017 zur Hmyne aller Frauenmärsche der letzten Jahre geworden ist. Jetzt hat sie den Titelsong ihres kommenden Albums veröffentlicht: „What About the Women“.

Sie schreibt: Diese Musik hat schon sehr lange in mir darauf gewartet, das Licht zu erblicken, und der Weg zu dieser Geburt ist mit meiner Reise durch die globale Frauenbewegung und meiner inneren Reise verbunden. Diese Musik ist durchdrungen von den Märschen der Frauen auf der Welt – den Frauen in Liberia, den USA, Europa, Afrika, China, Indien und unseren einheimischen plastinischen und israelischen Frauen, die sich bis zum heutigen Tag für ein Friedensabkommen einsetzen.

Vielen Dank an all die wunderbaren Menschen, die an der Entstehung dieser Musik beteiligt waren: Ronen Sabo, Adam Ben Amitai, The Mothers Ensemble und Frauenchöre aus der ganzen Welt.
